Syrian Internal Security Forces said they arrested two suspects in a planned ISIS-linked attack on a police patrol in Damascus Countryside and seized an explosive device ready for detonation.
SANA reported Saturday that the operation was conducted jointly with the General Intelligence Department. The security statement was issued Friday.
Authorities said investigations were continuing into the cell’s connections and the scope of the plan.
