Syria, Lebanon Advance Plans to Restore Tripoli-Homs Rail Link
Syrian and Lebanese technical teams have begun field assessments for a proposed railway connecting Lebanon's Tripoli port with Homs and the wider Syrian rail network. The project could eventually form part of a broader regional trade corridor linking Lebanon and Syria with Iraq, the Gulf and Türkiye.
