Fly Cham announced the start of twice-weekly flights between Damascus and Jeddah on Sunday, adding a second Saudi destination after Dammam, Syria’s state news agency SANA reported.
Commercial Director Hamdi Khalaf said the airline was preparing to begin a weekly Medina service on Wednesday, Nov. 4.
Company adviser Osama Satea said the Jeddah route was intended to serve pilgrims, business travelers and Syrians visiting relatives.
The report did not provide flight numbers, fares or the operating days for the Jeddah service. The Medina route remains a planned launch rather than an already operating service.
