Twenty-three projects were featured at a two-day entrepreneurship exhibition in Homs over the weekend, Syria’s state news agency SANA reported on Sunday.
The Ahl al-Azm exhibition, organized by the Al-Azm Foundation for Entrepreneurship and Development, ran from Saturday through Sunday. It brought together handicrafts, digital products and other services.
Business incubator director Nihad al-Droubi said the event gave young entrepreneurs a relatively low-cost setting to test ideas, meet potential customers and assess demand.
Projects included an Arabic online-learning platform under development and a mobile employee-attendance system. The foundation also offers business advice, training and networking, according to the report.
