Health authorities launched a child vaccination campaign in southern Syria’s Quneitra province on Tuesday, with services at centers in Ain al-Tineh, al-Qusaiba and al-Rafid, SANA reported.

Ain al-Tineh center director Abdullah al-Ali said the campaign primarily focuses on one-year-old children and has drawn participation from local families.

Health workers are also checking children’s height, weight and nutritional status. The centers are providing free medicines, including fever-reducing treatments, according to the report.

The campaign forms part of efforts to improve routine immunization and access to primary healthcare in rural communities.
