The Syrian Investment Authority has discussed a proposed international commercial and financial center in Aleppo with representatives of US company Concord, Syria TV reported Wednesday, citing the authority.
The meeting brought together authority chief Rawad Ramadan, Foreign Ministry American Affairs director Saad Baroud and Concord chairman Zaid Kayali.
Ramadan outlined investment incentives, including exemptions for machinery and production lines, and said the authority was ready to help address administrative obstacles.
The report did not announce a final agreement, financing package or construction timetable for the proposed center.
