Syria’s Information Ministry launched a Media Gate application on Sunday to make services for media workers available electronically, Syria TV reported, citing the ministry.
The ministry said the platform could be accessed through a web browser and through Android and iOS applications.
The service website is mediagate.sy. The launch is part of the ministry’s effort to simplify procedures and make its services accessible from different devices, according to the report.
The announcement did not set out a detailed list of available transactions. Availability of the applications was announced by the ministry; this report does not independently assess their functionality.
