Syria will maintain water releases from Euphrates dams at 900 cubic meters per second until Nov. 10, keeping the rate unchanged from mid-October, the Energy Ministry said Saturday.

The ministry said it would reassess conditions afterward based on inflows from Türkiye. About two billion cubic meters of storage capacity remained available in the dams, according to its statement reported by SANA.

Staff are monitoring incoming water and changes in reservoir levels around the clock, in coordination with water authorities and emergency operations rooms in Raqqa and Deir Ezzor.

The release rate was reduced from 1,200 to 900 cubic meters per second on Oct. 15. Saturday's announcement maintains that rate rather than introducing a new increase.
