Syria's embassy in Berlin urged Syrians living in Germany to exercise caution ahead of demonstrations expected in several German cities on Saturday.
In a statement reported by Syria TV, the embassy advised citizens to stay away from protest gatherings and follow instructions and alerts issued by German authorities.
The embassy said the advisory followed demonstrations announced by local authorities. It also provided its official email address, berlin.embassy@mofaex.gov.sy, for citizens needing to contact it.
The notice is an embassy advisory concerning the planned gatherings; it does not announce a change in immigration rules or consular services.
