Syrian Defense Minister Murhaf Abu Qasra discussed military cooperation with Pakistan’s military attaché to Syria and Iraq in Damascus on Tuesday, state news agency SANA reported.
Brig. Irfan Maqbool Ahmad attended with a delegation, while several Syrian officers also took part in the meeting.
The talks examined ways to develop military relations across several fields. SANA did not announce a signed agreement or provide details of specific projects.
The meeting followed talks in mid-July between Deputy Defense Minister Mohammed Khair Shuaib and Pakistan’s military attaché, according to the agency.
