Syrian Foreign Ministry official Sally Shobat met Austria’s chargé d’affaires, Christoph Weidinger, in Damascus on Wednesday for talks on bilateral political relations, SANA reported.
Shobat, who heads the ministry’s European Affairs Department, and Weidinger also exchanged views on matters of mutual interest.
The brief report did not announce a new agreement or specify additional measures resulting from the meeting.
