The Organization of Turkic States reaffirmed support for Syria's unity, territorial integrity, security and reconstruction in a declaration issued after its summit in Ankara on Friday.

SANA reported the Syria-related commitments Saturday, citing Türkiye's Anadolu Agency.

The Ankara Declaration concluded the organization's 13th summit. Its wider agenda called for closer political and security coordination and stronger economic and cultural cooperation among member states.

Türkiye will hold the organization's rotating presidency until the next summit, which Uzbekistan is due to host in 2027, according to the declaration.

The report did not announce a specific reconstruction contribution or funding amount for Syria.
